APCJ (Vol. 8 No. 2) Call for Paper

 
Asia-Pacific Collaborative education Journal (APCJ, ISSN 2092-674X, (Online) ISSN 2092-6758) is an online journal with limited print distribution established since 2004. The journal is published online semi-annually by the Institute of APEC Collaborative Education (IACE). The journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal to gather, refine, and share knowledge and experiences among APEC economies in order to increase the knowledge base of and enhance the efficient use of information and communication technologies in education. APCJ invites papers dealing with integration into education and training, particularly in the Asia-Pacific Rim regions. Previous reports were published as 2004; Vol. 1 No.1, 2005; Vol.1 No.2, 2006; Vol.2 No.1, No.2, 2007; Vol.3 No.1, 2008; Vol.4 No.1 No.2, 2009; Vol.5 No.1 No.2; 2010; Vol.6 No.1 No.2. 2011; Vol. 7 No. 1;  2011 Vol. 7 No. 2, and continuously 2012 Vol. 8 No. 1

 
■ Purposes & Goals of APCJ



1. To stimulate scholarly work in collaborative education, giving scholars incentives to conduct research and report findings


2. Construction database of future education knowledge and collaborative of international education of an export education APEC


3. To foster communication between academics and practitioners of APEC


Vol.8 No.2 will be published by November, 2012.

Manuscript submission deadline is September 30, 2012

First peer-review : ten days

Correction by author/s : ten days

Second peer-review : ten days


■ Specific topics of interest include:


1. Collaboration of international education


2. Research on and innovations in teaching and learning with technology


3. Other topics related to teaching and learning with technology for collaborations of international education

4. Introduction of practical example at the chalkface(general education, higher education and lifelong education etc.)

 

■ Submission of Articles


1. Article submissions are usually from 4,000 to 5,000 words including references in general but the length of the article is not critical.


2. The medium of language for all manuscripts is English.


3. Authors should use the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 5th edition) for reference and citations format. Articles should include a complete list of references at the end of the article.


4. The abstract of 100-150 words should be included


5. An electronic title/cover sheet should be included with each submission. This cover sheet must include the following information:



a) Title of the paper

b) Name and title for all authors

c) Brief biography for each author

d) Email address and any other relevant contact information for the correspondent author. No other identifiable information should be contained within the manuscript.



6. No manuscript which has already been published in another professional journal will be considered.


7. Manuscripts should be sent as a rich text file or as a Microsoft Word file. Alternative formats will be considered upon request. Paper may be submitted via e-mail only.



8. Graphics in GIF or JPG format for photos, line illustrations, charts are preferred while we can use most adobe and Microsoft graphic formats.


9. Copyright Clearance is the responsibility of the author/s. Before the article is submitted, the author should clear the copyright for the publication.


10. All the articles will be online for public access. However, author/s can receive 5 copies of offprint upon request. An interdisciplinary panel with expertise in various aspects of collaborative education reviews all submissions.

APCJ trusts in the open educational resources, following CCL(Creative Common License). All articles remain the intellectual property of the individual. The presentation is copyrighted by APCJ unless separately acknowledged. Permission to copy or disseminate this article is granted if the following conditions are met:



1. Copies are not made or distributed for commercial advantage

2. APCJ, volume, number, date and author/s (and original source for republished articles) are acknowledged.
